March 2026 Monthly Growth Report
My website and YouTube channel monthly report for March 2026

March was an interesting month.
I landed a freelance gig that takes up a full-time schedule, which is great for my finances. But on the other hand, I was a bit sad because I didn’t have much time to write or make videos.
Also, I finished binge-watching Season 2 of Netflix’s One Piece live-action. Man, that show was so good. If you need something to watch, give it a try.
What did you do in March? Hopefully something great too.
Anyway, welcome back to my monthly growth report.
March 2026 Website Growth

| Metric | Value | Growth |
|---|---|---|
| Sessions | 38K | +1.9% compared to the previous 31 days |
| Views | 39K | -2.9% compared to the previous 31 days |
| Active Users | 30K | +3.3% compared to the previous 31 days |
| Total Revenue | $$$ | -0.6% compared to the previous 31 days |
To my surprise, it didn’t grow as much as I expected. It’s pretty much flatlining. Almost the same as the previous 31 days.
The only exception is total revenue.
You see, I got accepted into Journey by Mediavine sometime in March 2026. I tested it for 3–4 days to ramp up the ads. So I lost revenue from AdSense during the ramp-up period and gained some revenue from Journey Ads.
Sadly, it only made me around $5.94 during the test period. It might get better if I run it for a longer time. But for now, AdSense is still giving me better ad revenue, so I’ll stick with it until I have enough savings to properly test Journey for several weeks.
Another thing is my juniandev.com domain didn’t get accepted by AdSense. It was flagged as Low value content.
This will require more work than I expected. I’ll try to write more in-depth posts to improve my chances of getting approved.
March 2026 YouTube Channel Growth

| Metric | Value | Growth |
|---|---|---|
| Views | 29.5K | +54% compared to the previous 31 days |
| Watch Time | 511.7 hours | +92% compared to the previous 31 days |
| Subscribers | +39 | +77% compared to the previous 31 days |
March was surprisingly a great month for my YouTube channel!
There was a spike right after Apple launched the new MacBook Air M5 and MacBook Pro M5. A lot of users ran into the same issue: they couldn’t activate their Mac after setting it up with Migration Assistant.
They couldn’t access the internet in Recovery Assistant because the Wi-Fi icon was missing from the menu bar. That led many people to watch my video on how to restore missing Wi-Fi in macOS Recovery.
But since that guide didn’t fix the issue for everyone, I created another video on how to connect to the internet from macOS Recovery without Wi-Fi.
Those two videos contributed a lot to my watch hours.
On top of that, after Apple released macOS Tahoe 26.4, I made a quick guide on how to limit MacBook battery charge to 80%. This brought in some additional views, although the watch time wasn’t as significant since the video is only about a minute long.
I still need around 1,900 watch hours to get monetized. If I can maintain March’s pace, I might reach 4,000 hours in about 4 months.
But there’s another problem: my subscriber count is still far from 1,000.
So yeah, still a long way to go.
But let’s see if I can make it happen.
Final Thoughts
I can’t wait to see how much growth April 2026 will bring.
The plan is still the same: write regularly and make videos consistently.
I also need to hunt for a full-time remote work. This economy is truly a challenging time.
Anyway, thanks for reading. Hopefully this is somewhat useful.
Cheers!
