Withdraw Google Adsense to Jenius Bank USD Account

As someone who lives in Indonesia and earns from Google AdSense, I usually withdraw my earnings to my local IDR bank account. I’ve been doing this for years, and it works fine for me.

But there’s a hidden fee in doing that: the exchange rate. I don’t know the exact exchange rate or how much I’ll receive in IDR until the money arrives at the bank.

So recently, I’ve been thinking about withdrawing my earnings to a USD bank account instead. I’ve been doing some research, and I think it’s better overall because I can keep the earnings in USD instead of IDR.

One problem is that I need to find a local bank that supports USD accounts, offers a good exchange rate, is available 24/7, and as a bonus, gives a good interest rate if I keep my money there.

I’ve been looking into a few options, and I think Jenius Bank, a digital bank owned by Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) of Japan, is a good option. This bank has:

• A USD account with wire transfer support
• A good exchange rate, close to the market rate
• 24/7 availability for IDR exchange. Meaning if I need to exchange my USD to IDR, I can do it anytime. Most local banks in Indonesia are only available during certain hours on weekdays.
• A good interest rate. You’ll get roughly 2.75% p.a. if you keep your money there.

So, if you’re also a Google AdSense publisher in Indonesia and looking for a way to withdraw your earnings to a USD account, here’s how to withdraw Google AdSense earnings to a Jenius Bank USD account.

Jenius USD Account Setup

First, you need to have a Jenius account. If you don’t have one, you can sign up on the Jenius website. After completing the KYC process, you’ll get your Jenius account.

Then you need to activate your USD account by going to: Wealth > Active Balance > Activate Foreign Currency. Select United States Dollar (USD) from the options and follow the instructions.

Once your USD account is activated, you’ll see your USD account details. We’ll use these details for the Google AdSense payment setup.

Google AdSense Setup

Open your Google AdSense account and go to Payments > Payment info > Manage payment methods, then click Add payment method.

Now let’s fill in the necessary fields:

1. Name on bank account: Your full name as it appears on your Jenius account.
2. Bank name: PT BANK SMBC INDONESIA TBK
3. SWIFT BIC: SUNIIDJA
4. Account number: Your Jenius USD account number.
5. Re-type account number: Same as the account number.
6. Set as primary payment method: Check this box if you want to set this as your primary payment method.

Leave the other fields as default or empty. Once it’s set, click Save.

Then, in the next month, you’ll receive your earnings in USD in your Jenius USD account. There will be no additional fee, and you’ll receive the exact USD amount from Google AdSense.

Here’s an example from my February 2026 payment. Google owed me $206.20 for February 2026.

And here’s how much I received after it arrived in my Jenius USD account:
