Following is a resume template recommended by iPlain on Reddit.

This is the resume that got me the job at Google. Follows pretty much the standard recommended format on here.

The thing I was least sure about was whether to put those non tech jobs on or to include a third project instead.
That’s always going to be a toss up, but my thinking was that the other jobs show leadership and people skills, which > otherwise wouldn’t be demonstrated, and I already had enough proof of technical skills IMO, so I still think it’s the right choice.
Using the McDowell CV from GitHub. I slightly modified the header to fit exactly what I wanted and to make it copy paste into a text document better to make it easier for automated parsing.
The Resume that Got Accepted at Google
Following is a resume from Codey_McCodeface on Reddit that helped them land a grad position at Google.

This resume helped me land a new grad position at Google. I also had on-sites with Microsoft and Facebook, and screens with Pinterest and Two Sigma. My path was a little different since I got my CS PhD before going into industry, but hopefully this can help someone.

Huge shout-out to u/posquit0 for making the Awesome CV template ( https://github.com/posquit0/Awesome-CV ). I made some modifications to the template to condense the spacing and make the education entries a single line each.
I’m not sure I’m in love with the summary section, but hey, it worked. I’ll definitely rewrite it before I start the job search again.
The Resume That Works for No Previous CS Background
This resume from killwish1991 on Reddit worked for someone who entered tech with no previous CS background.

Master’s new grad - online degree - No previous CS background.
Here is mine. Some might say the resume have ’too much’ information and needs white space, but, I often got compliments on the content and details I was able to include in the resume.
I’ve purposefully left out previous education since it’s not related to CS. Also, there have been frequent changes in the order of the section during my internship search and full-time search. Due to lack of CS experience during the internship search, SKILLS and projects were at the top. However, once I had couple of internships, that relevant experience went to the top.
I found this highly effective during the on-campus career fair when engineers from the recruiting companies gave it a first look. I say this because There was follow up from about 12 companies out of 15 that I talked to during the career fair. For online applications, it has a decent success rate. Applied to about 90 jobs, I believe, I was qualified for about 60-70 of them as per job description and received a follow up from about 30 of them.
Overall 7 offers (including amazon, a fin-tech startup, Uber, Microsoft), so I think it worked out well !!!
