FiberHome GPON ONU Router / Modem Default Admin Password

Recently, my ISP replaced my almost decade-old router with a new one.

The brand is FiberHome, and the model is HG6145F1.

When I wanted to log in to the web terminal, they provided the default address, username, and password:

• Default terminal web IP: 192.168.1.1
• Default terminal web username: user
• Default terminal web password: user1234

Even though I could log in successfully, the default user account has limited capabilities.

I tried to find the administrator credentials for this router in the official manual and documentation, but had no luck.

It seems that internet customers are not allowed to access it, probably to prevent them from messing up the configuration. I mean, sure, that makes sense for casual users. But for power users like me, that’s not cool. I want full control over any devices installed in my house.

Out of curiosity, I asked the technician who installed it about the admin password when I got the chance. Luckily, he knew it. Here’s what he told me:

• Username: admin
• Password: %0|F?H@f!berhO3e

With these credentials, I was able to access more administrative features.

Alternatively, if you’re using a different model than mine, try one of the following credentials. I’ve successfully logged in to the admin dashboard on previous FiberHome models using these:

• Username: admin
• Password: admin

• Username: root
• Password: admin
